Price lists for the facilities, accommodation, activities and services that you can book for your stay at Moreton Bay Research Station.
Prices are subject to change without notice due to price changes from external suppliers.
Quotes may be provided with a "contingency" fee. This may be adjusted at the request of the budget owner, but otherwise effectively operates as a line of pre-paid credit under a single Purchase Order for ease of invoice reconciliation. Any charges incurred in excess of agreed Purchase Order amount will result in a separate Invoice being raised requiring immediate payment (i.e. credit card or like).

Shared rooms and amenities should be presumed unless otherwise advised by Station staff. Subject to availability, all efforts will be made to offer separation of groups, genders, and supervisory structures (e.g., teachers/students) unless otherwise requested. Private room(s) may be requested at time of booking, however, surcharges may apply.

Includes access to research laboratories, teaching laboratories, aquaria, and/or seminar rooms as appropriate for the nature and duration of the activities. Groups may be required to utilise this service for the duration of their visit to ensure equitable Station use for others. Subject to availability, all efforts will be made to offer exclusive use of a space to groups.
Snorkel and Dive gear is charged at Bench fee rates (all inclusive). Where a user already pays a bench fee, snorkel and dive gear are included in this fee. Snorkel and Dive gear may only be issued to personnel formally undertaking Snorkel and/or Diving works.

Vessel hire is calculated based on time vessel is in exclusive possession for use, including pre- and post-checks (unless skipper provided as Staff Assistance). Subject to Station staff moderation, vessels may be reserved for longer periods and only charged for time-in-use. Engine use and fuel charged separately.
Fees include launch and retrieval service and is provided by station staff (at no extra cost). Where launch and/or retrieval is requested outside of normal station operating hours, a Staff Assistance fee is applied.
Vessel cleaning is the responsibility of the vessel hirer. At the discretion of the station staff, where a vessel requires cleaning (where it has not been cleaned adequately by the user), a Staff Assistance fee will be applied.

Engine use is based on actual hourmeter readings at beginning and end of boating activity (i.e. log book). Staff assistance is strictly subject to availability. Available services include boating, diving, scientific, administrative (incl. logistics), and general-hand labour.
